To maximise safety and performance, the Ultra Slim battery is crafted with A-grade automotive LiFePO4 lithium cells. LiFePO4 is considered the safest type of lithium battery and is ideal for demanding environments ensuring safety and reliability.
The Ultra Slim range of batteries was designed to fit in extremely compact spaces including behind the seats, under false floors or inside canopies. Despite this, the high current BMS and premium LiFePO4 cells ensure there is no compromise in performance
The custom aluminium enclosure is designed to reduce the battery's footprint and protect the cells. All components are insulated against vibration to protect your setup against corrugations and the effects of remote travel giving you confidence to explore without limits.
To protect your battery we’ve equipped it with a Heltech BMS and active balancer; the BMS safeguards against overheating, over-discharge, and short-circuiting, while the active balancer maintains optimal performance by managing and protecting individual cells.
Custom Lithium offer a full 5-year warranty to give you peace of mind. Each battery is individually bench-tested so you can trust it to perform no matter where your adventures take you.

Due to the dangerous goods class of these Lithium Batteries, the $24 flat rate is not applicable.
Instead, we offer a $49 flat rate for lithium batteries under a certain weight. For these, you will be able to add to your cart, at checkout enter your delivery details and select shipping.
For heavy, dangerous good, we unfortunately cannot offer the $49 flat rate. For these batteries, you will need to contact us, provide your information and we will quote you for delivery.
Alternatively, we always offer collection from our store in Bayswater, WA 6053.

AGM and lithium batteries have distinct charging cycles and chemical properties. Lithium batteries, while lighter and more efficient with a longer lifespan, require more precise charging profiles to prevent damaging the battery and to prevent overcharging and avoid potential safety hazards. Before proceeding with a swap, it’s crucial to verify that your existing chargers and related equipment are compatible with lithium batteries. Ensure to consult the manuals for your DC-DC charger, solar charge controller, and 240V charger, among others. These should support the specific needs of lithium batteries to facilitate a safe and effective transition from AGM to lithium technology.
What size DCDC charger do I need for my lithium battery?
All the DC-DC chargers we offer are fully compatible with Custom Lithium Batteries. Whether you choose a charger with a built-in MPPT solar regulator or a straightforward DC-DC charger, you’ll find an option that suits your needs.The choice between smaller and larger DCDC charger models largely depends on your desired charging speed. For larger batteries, we recommend opting for a larger DC-DC charger to ensure more efficient recharging. However, even smaller batteries can handle a robust 40A charger for quicker charging. Alternatively, using a smaller DCDC charger, such as 25A or 30A, is also viable but expect slower charging times. If you are considering a charger from a third party or planning to use an existing one, make sure the lithium DCDC charger is configured to support a 13.4-13.6 volts absorption/float charge and a bulk charge of 14.2-14.6 volts to ensure optimal charging performance and battery health.
What charging profile should I use to charge my lithium battery?
For optimal performance, specific charging parameters need to be adhered to. The battery requires a charge voltage between 14.2V and 14.6V for effective charging. The absorption and float voltage should be maintained between 13.4V and 13.6V to ensure the battery is charged safely without risking overcharge.If your charger, like the Victron 12-12/30, offers a LiFePO4 setting, it’s advised to use this option to align with the battery’s requirements. This setting ensures that the charger outputs the correct voltage profile and maximizes the battery’s performance and longevity.
