Shipping / Deliveries

We work together with several major courier services and shipping carriers.

Delivery times vary depending on the carrier and the location of the destination address. Some delivery companies will display an expected arrival date and some won’t.

Once an order is placed, we prepare the goods for shipment which can take 1-7 days. If a product we don’t normally stock is not available, we will contact you with an ETA and confirm if you would still like to go ahead or cancel your order.

*$10 Flat rate Australia shipping is not available on every product, see SPO's 

For domestic deliveries within Australia to all metropolitan areas the shipping delivery times are usually between 2-8 business days unless displayed differently. Please note that we cannot guarantee these delivery times as they depend on the shipping carriers. We can therefore not be held liable if the shipping takes longer.

For international deliveries around the World, the delivery times vary from 2-30+ business days depending on the destination country.

There are various reasons for the delay of an order and most of them are beyond our control (e.g. severe weather circumstances, road closures, pandemics, etc.). Please note that we cannot international delivery times as they depend on the shipping carriers. We can therefore not be held liable if the shipping takes longer than expected.

If you need something urgently, you are welcome to give us a call and we can look up different options with the delivery time estimates from the different providers and let you know.

Pickup

If you choose pickup at checkout, we will call you when your items are available. This generally takes 1-7 business days.

Please note that we do not regularly stock all items in our shop so please wait for us to confirm they are ready for pickup or call us to check availability.

If a product we don’t normally stock is not available from our supplier at the time of order, we will contact you with an ETA and confirm if you would still like to go ahead or cancel your order.

Special Order Products (SPO’s)

Some products on our website are set to Special Order.

Reasons for this include:

  • The weight or dimensions of the product exceeds the automatically bookable restrictions.
  • The supply of the product varies and we recommend calling to check availability to avoid unexpected wait times.
  • Product is classed as dangerous goods (e.g. car batteries) and has to be booked in manually by our sales team.

This means they are unavailable to purchase online. However, you can simply call us and order the item over the phone. Our sales team will be happy to assist you with this.

Post Boxes

Orders can be sent to Post boxes through Startrack only.  When using a PO box, please make sure that your PO box is not limited to a certain size and the product(s) you’ve ordered can be delivered to it successfully. Any returned items due to size issues or wrong PO information must be re-shipped on customer expense. 

Authority to leave

If you would like to give the Authority to leave your items at delivery when the address is unattended, please enter this in the notes field at checkout. This gives the delivery person the permission to leave your order in front of the house if no one opens the door at delivery. Not all carriers allow this option to be chosen. We will always pass on your delivery instructions however cannot guarantee, instructions will be followed as this is up to the shipping carriers and out of our hands.

PLEASE NOTE: If the address is unattended Perth Pro Auto Electric Parts can’t be held liable if the order gets stolen or doesn't arrive in the state it should arrive. Only choose this option if you think the address is a safe place to have an item sitting in front of your door. Do NOT choose this option if you live in an apartment building or block of flats as the delivery person may not have access to the building and won’t be able to leave it in front of your door.

Signature required

If you would like to make your order subject to signature required at delivery, please enter this in the notes field at checkout. This means the delivery person can only leave your order if someone answers the door and signs for the receipt of the order.

Only choose this option if the address is attended during business hours. If no one is present to sign for the receipt, your order must be taken back to the depot and depending on the courier service you may have to pick it up from the depot.

PLEASE NOTE: We use several different delivery providers and not all carriers allow this option to be chosen. We will always pass on your delivery instructions however cannot guarantee, instructions will be followed as this is up to the shipping carriers and out of our hands.

Availability

We try to ensure that our stock levels are always reflected on the web. In case that we don’t have something in stock or can’t get it sent out to you on time, we will contact you as soon as possible. 

Reasons for order delays

  • Entry of an incorrect or incomplete address during checkout.
  • Incorrect payment information was entered against the order. Please double check all details at time of checkout as your order will only be created upon receipt of payment.
  • In the event that an order is flagged for verification we may need to get in contact via phone before dispatching some orders. Personal details may need to be confirmed for fraud prevention if we are unable to verify the shipping destination to protect the card holder, and this may delay shipping.
  • Occasionally if a particular item is in high demand, we may need to supply the product from outside of our standard delivery network. This can cause delays in dispatch. If your order is not received within the quoted delivery period please contact us. We will generally respond to online enquiries within 24 hours on business days. 

Covid-19 / Coronavirus

Please note that due to the current worldwide situation with the Covid-19 pandemic there can be unexpected delays in shipments within Australia and also internationally. Unfortunately, these delays are out of our hands.
