AMPTRON® 12V 50Ah Lithium LiFePO4 Batteries are an alternative replacement (AR) for most applications currently using a deep cycle Gel, AGM or Flooded Lead Acid battery. The maximum continuous discharge current is 70A and peak discharge current 140A for 5 seconds.

Description
These batteries are designed using only the highest quality components and are backed with our 4-year warranty. This includes the use of a robust Battery Management System (BMS), Aluminium encased prismatic cells, solid busbar connectors and internal protection to reduce movement and damaging vibrations. Our batteries can also be placed on their sides providing versatile installation options.
The integrated Battery Management System is designed to monitor, protect, and optimise each cell within the battery. The BMS maximises the performance of the battery by automatically balancing the cells and protecting them from over charging, over discharging, over temperature, and excessive charge or discharge currents. Our integrated BMS allows our batteries to be used as an alternative replacement for most applications requiring deep cycle batteries, however if the charging system does not support a Lithium charge profile, there are some compromises – please contact Amptron for more information.

Heavy Duty - Built in Battery Protection System
AMPTRON® lithium batteries use a high quality robust built-in Battery Protection System (BPS) designed to prevent damage to the cells from almost any external accidental occurrence that would normally cause damage. The internal BPS will automatically disconnect to prevent damage to the cells if the battery drains below 10 volts. It will automatically reconnect when the charger is turned on. This protects the battery from over-discharging and damaging the cells. This technology also protects the battery from short circuit and reverse polarity.

CELL BALANCINGThe BMS balances the cells by sending more current through the length way circuit boards and into cells with a lower voltage. The BMS will also discharge cells that exceed 3.65V during charging.
THERMAL FUSEInternal Cell Safety Fuse
Our latest cell technology is manufactured with a internal thermal safety fuse between the anode and cathode that will break and disconnect in the unlikely event the cell would begin to overheat.

Delivery – Pickup or Shipping
For Lithium batteries, most will have a $49 flat rate delivery charges, for some, because of their extreme weight, you may need to contact us to provide a shipping cost or you can simply come and pickup your order from our shop.
We do not ship Lithium batteries outside of Australia.
If you choose to pickup your order, we will call you when your items are available. This generally takes between 1-3 business days. Please note that we do not regularly stock all items in our shop so please wait for us to confirm they are ready for pickup or call us to check availability.
