Two Up battery terminal lugs are purpose designed for dual battery installations where it is not desirable to cut or modify the factory battery leads or terminals. The concept allows factory strap type battery terminals to be fitted to a special tapered adaptor at the same time providing an additional terminating post to connect auxiliary batteries and/or ancillary equipment.
One of the main challenges encountered in a dual battery, winch or led light bar spot lights installation is finding a way to connect the extra leads to the starting battery. Often this can’t done without cutting the factory leads – not always desirable. Unilug have come to the rescue with a very innovative solution – the ‘Two Up’ battery terminal lug.
The unique design of the Two Up terminal includes a tapered adaptor that replicates the standard SAE post found on nearly all automotive batteries. The adaptor can be screwed on to either of the two studs provided, allowing the factory lead to be relocated without cutting. The second stud can then be used for connecting the auxiliary battery. Simple!
